Howdy hey!! I'm Ginger - Chasing Magic & Making My Own Path
I never really fit into the mold; no, that’s never been me. I’ve changed and morphed and grown, but the older I get, the further I run from who I’m “supposed” to be. Go to college, get a four year degree, obtain a well-paying job, live a comfortable life. How about this – go to seven colleges, in eight different majors, move to three separate states, and become an actor? Yeah, that sounds more like it (; I’m a firm believer in using your youth to search, to discover, to make mistakes. And by 23, I’ve done each of those things ten-fold…with maybe a few extra mistakes. But because of it all, I’ve learned so much about who Ginger is. She’s an adventurer, a lover of all living things, with maybe with just a teensy touch of stubbornness. She’s a creator, a storyteller, a believer in magic. A believer in bringing her magic to this world. I never fit into the mold because that is just what I was made to do: to weave beauty and light into our world; to help bring back its magic.
So then...
Who am I?
I am a senior in school studying Acting for the Stage and Screen. As a storyteller from birth, I finally found my place in telling stories of those whose shoes I step into; giving a voice to the voiceless. I’ve always been a creator, from painting & art to ballroom dancing & composing music. Writing is the one thing that has been with me the longest, with a world of journals filling my shelves (my dad has quaintly named it Journalia). You might see a glimpse of it in my writings here (; When I’m not writing, I love to move my body, get in the gym, and go hiking. I have a sweet pup named Melon (for her big ol’ melon head), I am in love with the handsomest man in the world (my Austin ♡), and I can’t cook to save my life (but I’ll throw down on some chocolate chip cookies). I can’t wait for you to join me on this journey. Thank you for being here.
